Welcome to
A Gr8 Beginning Academy was founded on the belief that early childhood education shapes and molds our youth for success in continued lifelong learning.
We help children achieve their highest potential as they grow to become confident, competent, and caring individuals. A Gr8 Beginning Academy is a private preschool and day care center for children ages two through six years old.
Our Approach
It is our belief that parents play a vital role in the growth and development of their children. Both at home and at school. We seek to develop positive relationships between teachers and parents, thus encouraging mutual respect and trust. Through education, support, and communication, we hope to assist parents as they guide their children in becoming mature, independent, and well-adjusted individuals.
Preschool (2-3)
This is an exciting developmental stage where a child is trying out new ideas, exploring his or her surroundings, and finding possible solutions to problems while staying close to a parent or teacher, as a child needs base of support and trust.
Our preschool program provides many opportunities that teaches a child how to manage conflicting feelings of separation, and the pleasure and exhilaration of growing independent.
Toddler (3-4)
Toddlers are full of wonder and spend a lot of time watching, observing, and imagining.
Their imagination is always working. They are particularly interested in perfecting their fine motor skills that they once found challenging when they were two years old.
While continuing to grow from their Preschool challenges, traditional subjects such as math, language skills and social studies are integrated in the learning centers to continue to foster growth.
Pre-K (4-5)
The curriculum for the prekindergarten class has been structured to foster the development of lifetime cognitive skills.
We encourage our children to become accomplished readers and writers, skilled in mathematics and practiced in the art of observation, creative thinking, and problem solving.
The learning process is as important as the educational content. We provide opportunities for children to question and express their curiosity, which results in developing confidence, independence, and high self-esteem.
